Identity in Christ
Living Your Identity in Christ
"You will either live up to or you will live down to who you believe you are. Your true identity is found exclusively in Christ rather than in personal achievements, circumstances, or earthly factors."

In Christ, you are sanctified and have a holy calling - set apart with divine purpose
You are a new creation - freedom from past sin and bondage, the old has passed away
You have the mind of Christ - renewed thinking characterized by love, obedience, and focus on God's will
Your humility is found in Christ - a servant's heart that prioritizes others
Your confidence is rooted in Christ's grip on you, not your grip on Him
You have peace with God and internal peace amid chaos through Christ
All your needs are met and you have every spiritual blessing in Christ
This powerful message explores seven key benefits of being 'in Christ.' When you understand your position in Christ, it's life-changing. You are sanctified, set apart, chosen, part of a royal priesthood. You have a holy calling and purpose that was determined before the ages began. You don't have to keep living in secret sin or bondage - you're made brand new. Your thinking is renewed with the mind of Christ. Life is no longer all about you; in Christ, you want to be a servant. Your confidence comes not from your grip on Christ, but His grip on you. You have peace with God through justification and internal peace that surpasses understanding. God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory, and you are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

How does knowing you were called 'before the ages began' impact your sense of purpose?
Where is God calling you to take the 'form of a servant' and serve others?
What 'stinking thinking' patterns do you need to replace with Christ's mind?
Are there areas where you're still trying to earn peace with God through works?
What genuine needs versus wants have you been confusing?
How might 'identity theft' by the enemy be keeping you from accessing your blessings in Christ?
Write down three specific areas where you're still living as if the 'old' hasn't passed away and declare: 'In Christ, I am made new in this area'
Identify three specific places this week where you can intentionally look for ways to serve others
Choose one negative thought pattern you struggle with and find a Bible verse that reflects Christ's mind on that issue
Make two lists: 'Genuine Needs' and 'Wants I've Called Needs' - pray over your genuine needs, trusting God's promise
Research and list at least 10 spiritual blessings that are yours in Christ and thank God for three of them this week
Wake up every day this week looking for ways to serve others at work, school, home, or church
