As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord
We Will Serve the Lord
He did not come to be served, but to serve.
Devotional by Pastor Allen, from the God's Minute daily devotional by Apostle Paul Ministries
As a child of God, we are to strive to become as much like Christ as we can possibly be. Remember that Christ came as a Servant, not as a Great King, and serving others is an important way of becoming more like Jesus. Some serve God by teaching Sunday School, others by helping people who are in need. After all, there are many ways to serve our Heavenly Father — and whatever we do, it is the Lord Christ we are serving.
