We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. When nothing seems to be going right in your life, don't despair. Pray and ask for God's help, and then wait for the Lord. He is your help and your shield. Wait in hope, knowing that He is working all things together for your good.

When nothing seems to be going right, the natural response is to despair. But the Word of God says: wait in hope for the Lord. He is your help and your shield. Waiting in hope is not passive resignation — it's an active, confident expectation that God is working, even when you can't see it. He is your help in times of trouble. He is your shield against fear and discouragement. So don't despair. Pray. Ask for His help. And wait in hope, knowing that the One who is your help and shield will never fail you.
